An Iranian actress has been banned from returning to her homeland after appearing naked in a photoshoot.
Government officials have reportedly told Golshifteh Farahani she's no longer welcome in Iran after posing naked in French news magazine Madame Le Figaro.
Based in Paris, the actress left Iran last year and now she can't go back after the nude protest against restrictive Islamic dress codes for women.
She says, "I was told by a Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guide official that Iran does not need any actors or artists. You may offer your artistic services somewhere else."
Farahani stars in Best Foreign Film Oscar favourite A Separation.
